Ok I did my job – copied the .WAV files to Mac via USB. Anyway, the USB D888 screen is currently frozen. This did not interfere with my work I have been doing something for many minutes, so I turned it off with a physical switch on my upper back.

When turned on, the D888 image remained much longer than usual; then it called “power failure, can you please allow them to initialize.” Well I couldn’t see this post in the manual but I was afraid it would reformat HD – gulp !!

So, I moved in the right direction. Now if I reset it, it freezes the D888 image first and stays there. The guide will not help in this situation.

    No, complete bad luck!

I took out the hard drive and connected it to a user’s WinXP computer, a Win7 computer, another WinXP electronic computer, and a Mac running Snow Leopard in addition to the tools to extract PATA to USB drives. Not all of them were able to connect to the reader. I had an old 80GB 5400 RPM PATA drive that worked fine, I plugged it in and enabled the D888 format. At the moment everything seems to be going well. I lost my notes on my first trip. Since the new original 40GB drive cannot be connected, I decided not to trustTo kill him and even try to reformat him successfully – he threw him into the anchor post of the ship.

The D888 manages 80GB because that doubles the unused dollar write time.

Nice to hear that I will never have a $ 700 clipboard! Can I use any internal hard drive? What characteristics does he need, what can they be?

Well, you need a 45-80GB Large Parallel Drive (PATA). You are using Serial ATA (SATA) most of the time – and it should be at 7200 RPM, not just 5400 RPM.

Tiger Direct has a 7200 80GB Absolute PATA drive for about $ 50.

my 5400 works fine, on the contrary, I am not using all 8 datasets right now. To be sure, I would stop at 7200 rpm.

When your company adds a new drive, the particular D888 should ask if your whole family wants to initialize it.

I said yes. He said it didn’t work the first time. Tried it a second time. He ate less than a minute, and this thought was crowned with success!

    There are many chances.
